Sig Sauer P365 XL
Action: Striker Fired
Barrel: 3.7”
Weight: 20.7 oz
Caliber: 9mm
Capacity: 12+1
Pros: Optic ready, easily concealable, stock day/night sights, flat trigger, solid ergonomics with the extended beavertail and great grip stippling
Cons: slightly higher recoil impulse due to its micro-compact size
-
Sig Sauer X Macro
Action: Striker Fired
Barrel: 3.7” non comp, 3.1” comp version
Weight: 21.5 oz
Caliber: 9mm
Capacity: 17+1
Pros: Optic ready, easily concealable, stock day/night sights, flat trigger, option to buy with Romeo optic included, great ergonomics of the grip, solid grip stippling
Cons: No complaints from me here
-
Glock 19
Action: Striker Fired
Barrel: 4.02”
Weight: 20.99 oz
Caliber: 9mm
Capacity: 15+1 or 17+1 depending on magazine choice
Pros: Optic ready options, Gen 5 and 6 have front slide serrations, Gen 6 has flat trigger, Glock reliability, smooth recoil impulse. I LOVE the 19 personally
Cons: It might be worthwhile to have an extended beavertail added to increase ergonomics and upgraded stippling (however Gen 6 comes made that way), Stock Glock sights are wildly underwhelming so they will need an upgrade, can be difficult for smaller framed individuals to conceal however not impossible (cross body bags are perfect if you’re struggling with printing but love your 19)

Springfield Armory Hellcat Pro
Action: Striker Fired
Barrel: 3.7”
Weight: 21 oz
Caliber: 9mm
Capacity: 15+1 or 17+1 depending on magazine choice
Pros: Optic ready or upgraded night sights options, safety and no safety options, comp and no comp options (although I don’t recommend compensators for CCW due to the flash interference with target acquisition, aggressive stippling, solid ergonomics, slight front slide serrations, slim and easy to conceal
Cons: moderate recoil impulse and can feel snappy, however far less than other models, trigger is sometimes considered “mushy” however an upgraded trigger isn’t a difficult fix
-
M&P Shield X
Action: Striker Fired
Barrel: 3.6”
Weight: 20.8 oz
Caliber: 9mm
Capacity: 13+1 or 15+1 depending on magazine choice
Pros: Optic ready options, comp and no comp options, thumb safety and no safety options, night sights out of the box, front slide serrations, good grip ergonomics and stippling, flat trigger
Cons: tight/stiff slide release initially (definitely needs time to break in), stiff trigger that needs 200-300 rounds to break in, overall the only cons are it needs a break in period which is an easy remedy
-
Glock 43X
Action: Striker Fired
Barrel: 3.41”
Weight: 18.55 oz
Caliber: 9mm
Capacity: 10+1 or Shield arms makes a 15+1 round option
Pros: Optic ready options, easily concealable, Glock reliability
Cons: It might be worthwhile to have an extended beavertail added to increase ergonomics and upgraded stippling, Stock Glock sights are wildly underwhelming so they will need an upgrade, substantially higher recoil impulse due to sizE
-
M&P9 2.0 Compact
Action: Striker Fired
Barrel: 3.6”
Weight: 25.9 oz
Caliber: 9mm
Capacity: 15+1
Pros: Optic ready options, compensated and non comp options, aggressive stippling and good ergonomics
Cons: Ported. Some may like ported options, but for concealed carry it can pose the risk of carbon buildup and can collect lint during concealing so it needs more cleaning, the aluminum frame creates higher recoil impulse over the polymer frame, stock sights need to be upgraded
